This is my very first attempt at creating and entering a blog. I have known that they exist, know people who have blogged for years....never thought about reading their blogs or creating one of my own.

There are so many new things that I am doing just because I signed up for a class. I am so looking forward to what new things I am going to be doing next.

Sure, I type up papers for assignments and have even gotten a degree completely online, but the last work like that have been over a decade ago. Wow, how technology has expanded. 

My sources of information of how to do certain things are mostly my children and grandchildren. The oldest grandchild with be entering college this fall and his sister is still in high school but is taking college courses at the same time. The youngest grandchild walks into my home and I automatically hand him my I Pad, phone, and the remote for the tv. He is 8 and electronics is his world.

Anyway, it is nice to be in this class. It is a long way from growing up thinking how special my friend's phone was because it was hung on the wall and had a long curly cord so the user would not have to be right next to the phone to use it. Believe me, this moment in time is pretty cool for me.
